 Crisp sound, great size, cool looks August 20, 2010

When it came down to which speakers I should order for my dorm room next semester, I was deciding between the Expressionist Ultra and Expressionist bass. While the reviews I read online for the Expressionist Ultra were great, I wasn't thrilled about how huge the base was, and the fact that it was twice as expensive as this Expressionist Bass package. These speakers are great for someone limited on space. The sound is crystal clear and it packs a balanced bass that you simply do not get from standard built-in laptop speakers (I own a 15 in Macbook Pro that I bought the summer of 2009). They fit nicely on my desk and look really good. I think I'll end up using them for the TV in my dorm room as well.
I consider myself particular to the sound quality of the music I listen to and the bottom line is: I can't complain. They make all my music sound good and for what I'm going to use them for, they're perfect.

I love these speakers. I researched quite a bit before buying these for work. The setup was a breeze. Just plug in the wire in the speaker output of my desktop, and its ready to roll. I had heard from a few other reviews that the bass can be too high, but thats the best part about these speakers, IMO!
I am usually very frugal about reviews. But this one is every penny worth. Highly recommended!
